BTC Dominance Is the Market's Capital Rotation Clock

Bitcoin dominance is one of the most underused macro signals in crypto.

Here is how the rotation clock typically works:

🔵 Phase 1 — BTC leads. Fresh institutional capital enters through the most liquid asset. Dominance rises. Alts bleed in BTC terms.

🟡 Phase 2 — ETH activates. As Bitcoin momentum consolidates, Ethereum catches a bid. Dominance flattens.

🟠 Phase 3 — Large caps follow. BNB, SOL, and others outperform as risk appetite broadens. Dominance declines.

🔴 Phase 4 — Small caps explode, then capitulate. Fast, noisy, and where the most money is both made and lost.

Most retail traders enter during Phase 4, chasing narratives that have already played out. Smart positioning means reading which phase you are actually in — not which one feels exciting.

BTC dominance trending above 54% with ETH underperforming is still Phase 1 or early Phase 2 territory. Patience here is edge.

Know the clock. Respect the rotation.
