Nine companies have objected to having tokenized versions of their shares offered on OKXICE, the proposed on-chain securities venue backed by #OKX and #NYSE parent Intercontinental Exchange. The objectors include Broadcom, Verizon, UnitedHealth, CoreWeave and Rocket Lab. Eight were on the venue’s original 63-symbol list; Cerebras had already objected and was not listed.
The proposed platform would use permissioned Uniswap v4 pools on X Layer, with stock tokens paired against stablecoins including $USDC . Under the SEC’s temporary framework, a timely issuer objection prevents that venue from offering the affected third-party stock token. It is not a blanket ban on tokenization elsewhere.
OKXICE has not launched trading. The objections show that issuer consent can narrow an initial offering even when blockchain infrastructure is planned.
