#nil $NIL @Nillion
One thing I find interesting about Nillion is how Covenants could change the way we automate actions on-chain without exposing sensitive information.
Powered by Blacklight L1 on Ethereum mainnet, Covenants let users lock an encrypted instruction behind a condition. For example, “If $ETH drops below $2,000, sell 0.5 ETH.”
The instruction stays encrypted until the required threshold of nodes agrees the condition has been met. No single node holds the entire secret, removing the need to trust one party to execute the rule honestly or on time.
Beyond private stop-losses, this could be useful for sealed-bid auctions, timed disclosures, and dead-man switches. DUSK being the first release on Ethereum makes this worth watching as the Nillion ecosystem develops.
Curious to see what developers build with this.
