NEAR gained about 10% in a day as Bitcoin rebounded from $80,000 and altcoins rotated higher, helped by its liquidity becoming reachable from Solana wallets and aggregators through the Sunrise integration. The token has more than doubled in 30 days, yet the latest 4H candle is already giving a slice of the move back.

On the 4H chart, price rebounded from about 4.5 on October 15 and now sits almost exactly on the EMA9/EMA21 pair (5.15 and 5.12). RSI has slid from the mid-50s to a neutral 50, the MACD histogram is barely positive (+0.04), and volume has faded since the rebound candles. The EMA200, near 4.47, keeps rising underneath. Overhead, the Bollinger upper band near 5.45 and the October 11–12 high near 6.0 mark the ceiling.

The context deserves a second look. Blockchain.News noted that Binance futures open interest shrank roughly 10% while price rose more than 10%, which raises a fair question: was this durable demand, or a squeeze driven by forced liquidations? Rallies of the second kind tend to fade once the forced buying is done. NEAR also fell about 9% on October 13 during an altcoin sell-off, so the swings are running both ways.

What to watch: a hold above the EMA pair keeps the rebound intact, while a 4H close below the EMA21 weakens that read and points back toward the 4.60 lower band and the EMA200. After a month that doubled the price, the market is deciding whether 5 is a floor or just a stopover.
