Short-term Bitcoin holders now hold 4.08 million BTC, the most since mid-June and up 422,000 from their July 29 low — a gain of about 12%. New buyers are entering in the $82,000 to $86,000 range. Two things in the same dataset complicate the read: the weekly pace of buying has more than halved, and the group’s unrealised profit cushion has compressed from 16% to 10%.
