#nil $NIL @Nillion Been looking at how Dusk fits into the Nillion roadmap, and one phrase kept nagging at me: no keeper required.
Dusk is the first phase of a seven-phase roadmap. Nodes decrypt a result only when a live data feed shows the condition has been met, so no single party decides whether to act. Anyone can run a node by staking $NIL, with rewards following stake.
Hold up. Being live on Ethereum mainnet and being proven are two different things.
The design removes a trusted middleman on paper. I went in expecting the usual "decentralized" label, and came out reading about who actually earns rewards and why. Sat with that longer than planned.
Early networks can have low node counts or slow adoption, so maybe the real signal shows up later. Anyone tracking how the node side develops who can compare notes?
