#nil $NIL @Nillion
I’ve been looking at Nillion lately, and one thing caught my attention: private intent might matter just as much as transparent execution.Imagine placing a conditional order, but everyone can see your strategy before it triggers. That creates an obvious problem — other traders could react before your trade even happens. That’s why I find Nillion’s Covenants interesting. Its Dusk release is live on Ethereum Mainnet, allowing encrypted instructions to stay unreadable until predefined conditions are met.The part I’m most curious about isn’t just privacy. It’s timing. If an instruction stays hidden while waiting, it may reduce the opportunity for others to copy or exploit the strategy early. That could also be useful for sealed bids and conditional payments.I’m not rushing into the $NIL narrative based on the idea alone. I’d want to see how execution costs, reliability, and developer adoption play out in practice. For now, I’m keeping Nillion on my research list and watching how the seven-era roadmap develops.Interesting tech, but real usage will matter more than promises.Research only, not financial advice.
