Honestly didn't pay much attention to Nillion until the Dusk phase landed, and now I kind of get the hype. The whole covenant idea is simple on the surface: your trade instruction gets sealed the second you post it. Nobody sees what's inside, not the network, not a single node, until your trigger condition actually hits, a price, a timestamp, whatever you set. Only then does it decrypt itself and fire.
The thing I actually like here is there's no keeper or middleman deciding when to act. A live data feed confirms the condition and the nodes just release what was already written. Tbh, that's a decent answer to getting a stop sniped or a big order front run before it even fills. But I'm not getting carried away. Once a covenant is posted you can't cancel it, so you'd better trust your own trigger. This is also just phase one of seven, mainnet is brand new, and node counts are still thin. Strong idea, real test is adoption from here.
Already running covenants live? How's it feeling so far 👀
