look, 👀 ,Been thinking about Nillion, and I don't think people are asking the right question. Everyone says "privacy," fine. But privacy isn't really the hard part.
The hard part is this: if an AI agent runs a strategy in secret, why would anyone trust it did what it claimed? Onchain, everything's visible, so serious agents just stay offchain and nobody can check them. That gap bugs me more than any price chart.
What I find interesting is Blacklight. Staked community nodes on Nillion's Ethereum L2 keep poking at hidden computations to see if they're honest, and it's not even limited to Nillion's own compute. Phala workloads can plug in too.
So NIL isn't only paying for storage. It's backing the people who audit what you can't see. That's a weirder, stickier job, and I doubt it's priced in.
My take: hiding data is a feature. Proving the hidden work was done right is infrastructure. Markets tend to notice that late.
