Australia has released draft legislation that would enable automatic exchanges of crypto tax information between countries. The Australian Treasury said the bill would implement the OECD Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework and introduce a domestic crypto reporting regime. The draft is open for comment until Oct. 28. Australia is among 77 jurisdictions committed to adopting the framework, with Australia's first international exchanges expected in 2028.
