Ledger says the device could address the security concerns raised by the CryptoBilis incident. Its casing is designed to make tampering difficult without leaving traces, and it can detect attempts to remove the screen or open the case.
But the truth is, this product was already planned before the incident. And I do not think making a device that cannot be opened for inspection is the solution.
