Payments giant Stripe has partnered with cross-border account provider Plasma to launch a multi-currency stablecoin card powered by Stripe’s stablecoin card-issuing infrastructure. Users can spend directly from balances in the corresponding currency without converting through USD. The service initially supports fiat currencies including USD, BRL, EUR, MXN and COP, as well as USDC, OUSD and stablecoins compliant with the GENIUS Act. It is currently available in more than 30 countries and regions and is expected to expand to over 100 countries in 2027.
