One detail from @chainlink's Swift corporate-actions demonstration deserves attention: the shareholder snapshot.

Imagine a tokenized stock exists on four blockchains.

A dividend is announced, but investors are transferring shares between networks around the record-date cutoff.

Who actually receives the dividend?

If each blockchain is treated independently, the same position could be counted incorrectly or missed. Chainlink's demonstrated workflow reconciles holder positions across networks into a single register and applies rules for transfers occurring around the cutoff.

That's an important problem to solve as tokenized assets scale onchain.

A tokenized security can move across networks, but its economic rights still need to remain consistent.

Interoperability has to preserve those rights, not just transfer the token.
