DigitalassetWorks reported that the Seoul Southern District Court acquitted Park, known as Jonber Kim, in a first-instance verdict involving approximately $253 million in POD and ATT tokens. The court found misleading claims but said prosecutors failed to prove that specific investors purchased tokens based on the false information. The court also acquitted Park of a related breach of trust charge because of insufficient evidence. Two co-defendants received suspended prison sentences for submitting false materials during Coinone's listing maintenance review process.
