Bitcoin fell 0.93% to $80,900 after touching $80,194 on hotter U.S. inflation data. Headline CPI hit 3.7%, above the 3.6% forecast. The Fed's message? Don't hold your breath. Crypto traders weren't planning to anyway.

Buyers are defending $80,000–$81,500, with $81,500 marking the average U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF cost basis. A close below $80,000 could trigger liquidations toward $77,500, while $87,000 remains resistance. Plenty of investors would gladly sell just to break even.

ETF Money Exits, Long-Term Holders Stay Calm: Bitcoin ETFs flipped from nearly $3 billion in inflows to $760 million in outflows since October 7. Meanwhile, realized losses among long-term holders plunged 85% from August's peak. Panic is fading, but institutional buyers are missing. Bitcoin needs fresh money, not just fewer sellers.
