I will never allow the endless parade of “Web3 did” posts on my timeline to pressure me into blind admiration. Do not misunderstand me, as I sincerely celebrate the victories of others. However, I refuse to sacrifice my peace of mind, core values, or future simply to match the success of someone else. My own achievements will arrive at the appropriate time.
The reality behind many of the “Web3 did” claims you encounter online is quite complex. Simply put, not every celebrated triumph deserves praise, and not every displayed lifestyle is meant to be emulated. While legitimate Web3 opportunities have genuinely transformed lives, other so-called wins are actually the result of fraud or drugs. Social media networks will never display the entire truth behind a flashy post. Although some individuals are achieving honest success, others are engaging in reckless behaviors that could cause permanent ruin, and a few are just faking a reality they do not possess.
A serious problem arises when you begin to view yourself as a failure for choosing not to navigate a route you do not fully comprehend. Finding contentment brings immense rewards. Never let the extravagant lifestyle of another person pressure you into chasing a flashy image without first investigating its origin. Similarly, do not discard your moral compass just to impress individuals who have no real concern for your long-term future. If you ignore this, HBP might show you severe warnings before the reality of these life lessons fully sets in.
Always keep in mind that witnessing someone evade the disastrous consequences of a foolish risk does not guarantee you will share the same luck if you copy their actions. You are only seeing the end result without knowing the complete narrative. Therefore, proceed at a pace that suits you. Take the time to do your research, and always protect your capital and your reputation. Your true objective should be to establish a life free of eventual regrets, rather than striving to appear wealthy on a social media timeline.
