L2 tokens are getting absolutely hammered today. STRK -11%, W -12%, ZK -10.5%. Three projects with solid tech narratives, all bleeding in sync. Is this just a rotation or is the L2 thesis losing steam?
Why group these? All layer-2 scaling plays, all dumping on the same day with similar technical profiles. When correlated assets move together, it tells you the market is pricing a sector narrative, not individual fundamentals.
STRK at 0.0769 down 11% on declining volume with RSI at 40.5 leaning bearish. Price is trading below both SMA7 and SMA25 on the 4H, which is not a great look. The daily chart still shows a higher low structure but the short-term momentum is clearly down.
W at 0.0150 down almost 12% and looking like the weakest of the three. RSI 37.9 on the 4H and volume is fading. When price drops on low volume, it means buyers are not stepping in. Not a good sign for a quick recovery.
ZK at 0.0149 down 10.5% but actually holding up the best technically. RSI at 46.9 on the 4H is neutral, and price is consolidating rather than crashing. The 2.45 long-to-short ratio tells me retail is still buying dips. Might find support here.
Trade Plan:
STRK Short | Entry: 0.0733-0.0806 | SL: 0.0916 | TP: 0.0689 / 0.0660
W Short | Entry: 0.0142-0.0159 | SL: 0.0183 | TP: 0.0134 / 0.0128
ZK Short | Entry: 0.0145-0.0154 | SL: 0.0167 | TP: 0.0136 / 0.0130
All three L2s moving in lockstep today. Is this a buying opportunity or the beginning of a longer fade? Drop your take below.
