Binance Just Turned Stock Tokens Into Margin Collateral Borrow Against Stocks Without Selling Them

Yesterday Binance let you BUY stocks with USDT. Today it went one step further.

The same four bStocks tokens — $BBB (BlackBerry), $MDBB (MongoDB), $PENGB (Penguin Solutions) and $UVXYB (VIX ETF) — are now eligible COLLATERAL on Binance Cross Margin, Portfolio Margin and Portfolio Margin Pro. Margin trading on the bStocks pairs is enabled too. All going live today.

Translation: hold tokenized stocks, and borrow against them without selling. Your stock exposure keeps working while your margin does the heavy lifting.

Why this matters:

• Stock-backed margin on the world's biggest exchange — a brand-new collateral class

• Zero maker fees on all bStocks pairs until Nov 1

• Spot algo bots already live, zero-fee Convert to $BTC / $USDT within an hour of listing

The honest part: borrowing is NOT enabled yet — collateral only for now. These are tokenized securities, not actual shares (ADGM prospectus, eligible regions only). Users below VIP 3 must pass a suitability questionnaire first. And $UVXYB is a VIX product — leverage on volatility is not a beginner game. Strict risk management, always.

First spot, now margin. Binance is quietly becoming an everything-exchange — what's next, options?

Would you put stock tokens up as collateral, or keep margin strictly crypto? 👇
