Aptos (APT) Update: Major Unlock Phase Completed
According to official news, the 4-year genesis token unlock for Aptos core contributors and investors has officially ended on Oct 12.
This was planned from mainnet launch. Now there are zero remaining genesis tokens left for them to unlock.
What about the rest?
Community and foundation allocation will still unlock monthly until year 10, as per tokenomics.
My take: This reduces future sell pressure from early investors. Could be positive for APT long-term holders.
