WuBlockchain data show that spot trading volume across 14 major cryptocurrency exchanges reached USD 696.7 billion in September 2026, up 36.5% from USD 510.4 billion in August. All 14 exchanges recorded month-over-month increases.

Binance ranked first with USD 307.8 billion in trading volume (44.2% market share), followed by OKX at USD 65.8 billion (9.5%) and Coinbase at USD 61.3 billion (8.8%). The top three exchanges accounted for 62.4% of total volume, down from 64.8% in August.
