$BTC: only ~1.1% of the last 30 days' blocks came from Binance Pool, and Binance says the pool shuts down on Nov 10. (16:38 ICT, Oct 13, 2026)

• Notice (Oct 13): Binance Pool, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining and Transaction Accelerator end 2026-11-10 07:00 UTC. Shares submitted after that won't be credited, so miners must repoint before the cutoff.
• Trend, per mempool.space block counts: Binance Pool's share fell from ~2.7% over 3 years to ~2.1% (1 year), ~1.8% (3 months) and ~0.8% this past week.
• Concentration: Foundry USA (~25.6%) and AntPool (~20.7%) found ~46% of blocks over the same 30 days.

My read: Binance is closing a pool whose share was already shrinking, not pulling a large block of hashrate.

For traders: ~1% of blocks changing pools is too small to move block times much; the structural question is whether it adds to pools that already find ~46% of blocks.

Routine cleanup or a strategic exit from mining: A or B?

Not financial advice.
