#BitcoinOptionsVolatilityHitsFiveYearLow
The Bitcoin options are pricing in a quieter market with the reports citing front-month implied volatility near 33.5%, a five-year low.
But the low volatility is not a directional signal. It tells us how much movement options markets are pricing in not whether BTC will rise or fall. Nor does it guarantee a major breakout is coming.
At the reported snapshot BTC/USDT traded at $82,694.17, down 1.01% over 24 hours.
Here are the levels I’m watching:
Resistance: $84,352 the reported 24-hour high.
Support: $82,311.50, the reported 24-hour low.
A clean break followed by a successful retest could provide stronger confirmation. A failed reclaim of support would signal continued weakness. Until then the patience matters more than guessing.
Will BTC break upward or lose support first?
