NFT marketplace Blur said Monday that Blur will shut down its frontend next month while its onchain marketplace protocol remains operational. Blur said Blend will stop matching new loans on November 12, 2026, and borrowers have until then to repay or allow defaults. BLUR will continue to control the protocol's fee switch. Blur's monthly trading volume fell from around $1.43 billion in March 2023 to under $7 million exactly three years later, according to The Block's data. The BLUR token fell more than 20% following the announcement to around $0.015.
