In under 1,000 days, Wall Street accumulated more Bitcoin than Satoshi Nakamoto ever mined.

Most retail traders celebrate institutional inflows right up until a handful of funds control enough supply to dictate market liquidity and trigger brutal drawdowns when you least expect it.

The numbers behind the US spot $BTC ETFs are wild, but they carry a real centralization risk that the market tends to overlook. Right now, these funds hold roughly 1.293M $BTC valued around $107 billion, easily passing Satoshi's estimated 1.1M stash.

The biggest concern is how lopsided the distribution actually is. BlackRock alone holds 806,037 coins, which accounts for 62% of all ETF Bitcoin and roughly 3.84% of the total 21M hard cap. That is more than Fidelity at 181,890 coins, Grayscale at 126,585 coins, and every other issuer combined.

When this much liquid supply sits in custodial vaults managed by traditional finance giants, Bitcoin starts inheriting traditional market contagion risks. If macroeconomic panic triggers aggressive redemptions, concentrated selling could overwhelm order books faster than retail can react, pulling down $ETH and the wider market with it.

Do you think having this much supply concentrated in Wall Street hands creates a dangerous systemic risk for crypto?
