Bitcoin closed the week above $83,000, and about $140 million of short positions were liquidated. a short liquidation is a forced buy. When price rises through a leveraged short, the exchange buys it back, and that buy can push the next short into the same close. $140 million is the size of those forced buys, not new cash arriving from outside. as of now the market is bullish. $BTC is at $83,645, up 1.15%. $ETH is at $2,542, up 1.88%. Solana is up 2.5%. The larger moves are in the smaller names: NEAR is up 12.5%, ICP is up 14.3%, and AVAX is up 6.2%. ATOM is the one red tile, down 0.8%. a weekly close above $83,000 puts price back over the level it lost earlier in the month. One green day after a week of ETF outflows and long liquidations is a bounce. It is not a new trend until the next week holds it. $83,645 is the close. $140 million is the shorts that got bought. The weekly hold is the part that has to repeat. #BTC Price Analysis# #Bitcoin Price Prediction: What is Bitcoins next move?# #Altcoin Season# $BTC $ETH
