Zcash, Hyperliquid, and Monero have displaced Cardano and Chainlink from the top 10 crypto assets.

According to an analysis by U.Today’s Arman Shirinyan, the composition of the top 10 cryptocurrencies (excluding stablecoins like USDT and USDC) has undergone significant changes over the past year.

🚀 Key ranking shifts
Zcash ($ZEC ): surged by approximately 441% over the year. The coin is trading near $1,232, with a market capitalization reaching around $20.8 billion.
Hyperliquid ($HYPE ): rose by roughly 127%, reaching a price of $85 and a market value of about $21.6 billion.
Monero ($XMR ): gained around 77% over the year and is trading near $530, with a market cap of nearly $10 billion.

📉 Who dropped out of the top ten?
Due to a lack of new growth drivers and waning investor interest, former favorites lost their positions:
Cardano (#ADA ): fell by approximately 61% to the $0.25 mark.
Chainlink (#LINK ): lost about 25%, dropping to $12.86.

⚠️ What does this mean for the market?
1. Shifting priorities: The top 6 leaders (Bitcoin, Ethereum, #bnb , XRP, Solana, #Tron ) remain unchanged. However, among the other coins, there has been a decline in major assets (BTC, ETH, SOL, BNB, and XRP dropped by 27%–42%). 2. Capital flow: Investors are actively shifting funds from conservative projects into higher-risk, privacy-focused (ZEC, XMR), or high-growth (HYPE) assets in search of higher yields.
3. Temporary nature of rankings: The market capitalization gap between the 10th and 11th positions remains quite narrow, so even minor price fluctuations could reshuffle the list in the coming days.
