$ETH Held $2,500 While ETFs Pulled Out $641M. Who Bought?
ETH has stayed near $2,500 for days, and the price isn't the interesting part. The flows are.
US spot Ether ETFs have lost money for eight straight sessions, about $641M since September 29. The worst days were $201.9M on October 6 and $160.9M on October 7.
Yet ETH dipped to about $2,406 during Thursday's flush, when roughly $356M in ETH positions were liquidated, then climbed back toward $2,500. Institutions sold. Price barely moved.
One caution: ETF data shows fund activity, not who bought the dip.
The picture isn't clean either. $BTC ETFs took in $119M on October 6, then lost $244.1M on October 8. And $ADA fell about 8% on October 7, harder than ETH.
CPI lands October 14. I won't call a reversal while ETFs keep bleeding. A daily close above $2,561, the 100-week EMA, would change my mind. Losing $2,406 would tell me the dip buyers were thin.
Is $2,500 real demand, or just a pause before CPI?
Not financial advice.
