Ukraine has struck a Yandex data center in Russia's Vladimir region, completely shutting down the facility.
This is the third Yandex data center Ukraine has struck so far. The other two were located in Sasovo and Kaluga Oblast.
Yandex is known as the 'Google of Russia' and operates Russia's leading search engine, along with a wide range of other digital services.
Yandex said its Sasovo data center was seriously damaged in a drone attack, forcing it to completely suspend operations.
Another Yandex data center in Kaluga was also hit, with part of its infrastructure taken out of service.
Yandex said the Kaluga facility is one of Russia’s largest, covering 1.4 million sq ft and using as much electricity as 220,000 UK households annually.
Yandex data centre in Sasovo houses two of three supercomputers used to develop the company's AI model. It is unclear whether the supercomputers survived the attack.
