A rug pull is when the people behind a crypto project take the money and disappear. The classic version: launch a token, pair it with real coins in a liquidity pool, market it hard, and once buyers have poured in, withdraw the liquidity. The token is still in your wallet. There is just nothing left to sell it for.
The warning signs repeat. An anonymous team with no track record. Liquidity that is not locked. A contract that lets the creator mint new tokens or change the rules. Returns no real business could pay. None of these proves a scam on its own, but each is a question that deserves a clear answer before your money goes in.
