TRUMP, PUTIN & RUSSIAN DIESEL

Donald Trump has announced a deal with Vladimir Putin for Russia to supply diesel to the U.S. and global markets, triggering a sharp response from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Trump says the agreement is intended to bring down fuel prices. His announcement outlined an initial supply of more than 300,000 tons, followed by additional shipments in the coming months.

Zelenskyy called the decision unfair and warned that allowing Russian petroleum sales could provide Moscow with more resources to continue the war. The deal has also raised concerns among U.S. and European allies over sanctions policy.

The debate now goes beyond fuel prices. It raises questions about energy security, sanctions and the future of Western support for Ukraine.
