$BTC vs GOLD(BTC/GOLD) | 30m + 4H Outlook 🟠🟡
How many ounces of gold does one BTC buy? That ratio is now at 19.62 and falling. BTC is losing ground against gold, and both timeframes point the same way.
🕓 4H: failed breakout, testing the neckline
The ratio held a base at 17.35-18.50, then broke out in late September. It peaked at 20.95, then made a lower high at 20.85, where momentum faded. The pullback is about 62% of the whole leg, which is the 61.8% fib. It lands right on the 19.45 neckline. Breakdown (~45%): a 4H close below 19.40 targets 19.03, then the 18.42-18.58 breakout retest zone. Bounce (~35%): 19.45 holds and price rebounds to 20.05-20.45. Deep (~20%): a close below 18.42 puts the whole breakout at risk, with 17.95 as the target.
⏱ 30m: bear flag breaking down
Lower highs from 20.83 down to 20.05, with every bounce sold. Flagpole: the drop from 20.05 to 19.43. The flag formed at 19.72-19.80 and is now breaking. Continuation (~55%): 19.43 first, then the 19.16 measured-move target. Relief (~30%): reclaiming 19.80-19.88 sends price toward 20.05. Range (~15%): chop between 19.43 and 19.80.
🎯 My read: the ratio sits on the 19.45 neckline. A clean break below it confirms the failed breakout and puts the 18.5 retest in play. Holding it keeps the bigger uptrend alive, but I’d want a 4H close above 20.05 before calling that.
Key levels
🔴 Resistance: 19.80-19.88 / 20.05 / 20.95
🔵 Support: 19.45 / 19.03 / 18.50
🟣 Deep target: 17.95
⚠️ Invalidation: a 30m close above 19.88 cancels the short-term bearish setup. On the 4H, bulls need a close above 20.05. Always use a stop loss and manage your risk.
