If You Buy at the Current Price, What Could the Future Look Like?
Let’s talk about HEMI for a moment.
HEMI has dropped quite a lot, so I’m sure some of you are wondering:
“Has it dropped enough to start buying?”
“Could HEMI recover and go higher in the future?”
Personally, I don’t think HEMI is a project that should be ignored. In fact, I think it’s worth keeping an eye on for the long term.
Why?
The main idea behind HEMI is to connect Bitcoin and Ethereum and unlock more possibilities for using Bitcoin in DeFi.
Bitcoin has strong security and is one of the most valuable assets in crypto, but compared with Ethereum, its smart-contract capabilities are more limited.
HEMI is trying to bring the strengths of both ecosystems together.
So, if BTCFi (Bitcoin DeFi) continues to grow in the future, I believe HEMI could have a good opportunity to benefit from that growth. 🚀
But there’s one important thing we shouldn’t forget.
A good project doesn’t automatically mean its token price will go up.
HEMI has token unlocks, and its total supply is also quite large. When more tokens enter the market, increased selling pressure could put downward pressure on the price. ⚠️
That’s why, if I were buying HEMI, I wouldn’t put all my money in at once.
For example, if I had $100:
💰 $20–25 → Start buying at the current price
💰 $20–25 → Buy more if the price drops further
💰 $20–25 → Wait and see how the market reacts after the token unlock
💰 The remaining amount → Add more if the trend starts improving
I’d rather build my position slowly using DCA (Dollar-Cost Averaging).
Especially with a relatively small-market-cap and high-risk coin like HEMI, I wouldn’t go all-in just because someone says:
“This coin is guaranteed to 10x.” ❌
However, if HEMI develops into a genuinely useful ecosystem and the BTCFi sector continues to grow, then...
👉 HEMI could have significant upside from its current price. 🚀
So, in my opinion:
HEMI = High Risk ⚠️ + High Potential 🚀
Instead of looking at the fact that the price has already fallen a lot and immediately buying, I think it’s better to consider four things together:
🔹 Project
🔹 Adoption
🔹 Token Unlocks
🔹 Overall Market Trend
Then make your own decision.
What do you guys think? Would you start accumulating HEMI at the current price? 👀
