U.S. government-controlled wallets moved $103 million in Bitcoin and BNB on Tuesday, according to blockchain analytics firm Arkham. The transfers included 833.6 BTC worth about $71.6 million and 40,285 BNB worth $31.63 million. The Bitcoin reached addresses Arkham labels as Coinbase Prime, while the BNB moved through unlabeled addresses. No sale has been announced, and the government has not confirmed the reason for the transfers or whether a sale is planned. Coinbase Prime also provides custody for the government, so a deposit can mean storage rather than a sale. A March 2025 executive order prohibits sales of Bitcoin included in the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.
