Hunter Biden said an unnamed market maker involved in his LAPTOP memecoin launch should buy back and burn the tokens. A market-maker-linked wallet deployed just $5,200 of the $500,000 the wallet received before launch. A forensic report from Groom Lake linked the launch-day price swings to limited token inventory, heavy early trading and liquidity changes. LAPTOP rose from $0.05 to around $320 in under two minutes, then ended its first hour roughly 98% below that peak. Biden said the failure was ultimately his responsibility.
