$MET CRASHES ON 7.1X VOLUME — BUT THE BULLISH STRUCTURE IS STILL ALIVE

$MET just suffered a sharp selloff on an extreme 7.1x volume spike, but the bigger picture is more interesting than the red candle suggests.

My bias remains cautiously bullish as long as the 1H structure holds. Daily and weekly trends are still bullish, while price has dropped directly into the key 0.3043–0.3022 demand/FVG zone.

The heavy-volume flush looks more like a liquidity grab or stop run than confirmed distribution. Late buyers may have been trapped above the highs before price was aggressively pushed lower.

Market flow is also worth watching:

OI: $5.6M (+2.1% 24H)
Funding: -0.0137%
Taker ratio: 0.94x

Negative funding shows aggressive short positioning, while top traders remain net long and OI continues to rise. If bulls successfully defend demand, this positioning could fuel a short squeeze.

TRADING SETUP

Entry Zone: 0.3043–0.3022

Deeper Sweep Zone: 0.2857

TP1: 0.3232

TP2: 0.3469

Invalidation: 1H close below 0.2857

Best setup: Wait for a liquidity sweep into the demand zone followed by a bullish engulfing candle or a 5–15M market structure shift. Do not blindly catch the falling knife while sellers remain aggressive.

If 1H closes below 0.2857, the bullish thesis is invalidated and my bias flips bearish. In that case, I would look for short entries on a retest from below.

The key question is simple: Is this the start of a deeper breakdown, or the liquidity flush before MET makes another move higher?
