Under the guidance of Tom Lee from Fundstrat, BitMine expanded its cryptocurrency portfolio last week by acquiring an additional 15,112 ETH. This latest purchase brings the total balance held by the company to approximately 6.02 million ETH, which accounts for about 4.9% of the overall supply. Such a move aligns perfectly with the officially declared objective of the firm to secure 5% of all existing ETH. Looking toward the future, Tom Lee expects that the fourth quarter of 2026 will launch one of the most substantial bull markets in the history of crypto. In spite of this very positive long-term outlook, I am personally holding out for one more downward trend in the market.
