In XRP news today, Clearpool’s community has approved an expansion to the XRP Ledger and a 1:1 swap of its Ethereum-based CPOOL token for a new CLEAR token. The Snapshot vote passed on October 5 with 97.16% in favor and 2.84% against. The migration is targeted for Q4 2026.

At the center of the plan are a larger 1.125 billion-token supply and a pledge to use half of protocol fees to buy back and burn CLEAR.
