Ethereum’s 872,000-ETH exit queue looks like a sell signal. It isn’t that simple.

#MetaMask confirmed it is exiting affected validators as a precaution after a security incident in part of its infrastructure. It says no MetaMask wallets or customer funds have been affected. Lido expects the exited $ETH to return gradually after the exit, withdrawal and re-entry cycle.

The queue currently implies about 15 days before exit, plus a separate withdrawal sweep. That creates operational delay, but an exit from validation is not automatically an exchange deposit.

For $ETH traders, watch actual spot inflows and sell volume. If those stay muted, the scary queue headline is mostly infrastructure reshuffling—not immediate supply hitting the market.
