1️⃣ Move idle coins to your own wallet, so a breach can't touch what you're not actively trading
2️⃣ Split funds across more than one platform, so one failure never wipes out your stack
3️⃣ Turn on 2FA and withdrawal whitelists, so a stolen password can't send your coins anywhere
An exchange is not a bank. Some funds were recovered this time, but recovery is never guaranteed.
