$CRV is down 4.0% on the day and sitting a hair above its 24h low, while Curve is telling everyone its lending product barely liquidates anyone.
The claim comes from Curve's own account, so treat it as marketing until proven otherwise: of the loans that dropped below liquidation price, 99% were protected and only 1% got liquidated. Same feed shows Curve pushing a fresh Llamalend V2 market where you borrow crvUSD against svZCHF, a Swiss franc yield token, and loop it.
I think the market is pricing Curve as a coin with a dull swap fee story and ignoring that the lending side is getting real use cases. A borrower who doesn't get wiped out keeps the loan open, and that's the whole pitch.
The line to quote: a lending market is only as good as its worst day, and Curve is saying its worst days were survivable.
Where I stand: $CRV trades at $0.3675 right now. If it holds $0.3663, the 24h low, I think it bounces back toward the $0.3857 24h high as the dip gets bought. If it loses $0.3663, I'm wrong on this and there's nothing to defend. Anyone long from here takes that loss, no excuses.
Holding $0.3663 or losing it?
