CLARITY ACT UPDATE
Sen. Cynthia Lummis says Democrats opposed the CLARITY Act even after 126 substantive changes were made at their request.
Lummis said provisions addressing memecoins and network tokens were also added during negotiations.
Democratic senators however, raised concerns over ethics and President Trump’s crypto-related ventures, including the Official Trump memecoin.
The Senate failed to advance the bill in its September 15 procedural vote.
