$XRP sweeps 1.4927 and gets rejected — is another downside move loading?

My bias remains bearish while XRP stays below the key 1.4954 resistance.

The 15m wick above 1.4927 failed to hold, creating a clear liquidity grab above short-term resistance. With the 1h structure still bearish and the latest HH sitting at 1.4954, this rejection looks more like stop hunting than a confirmed reversal.

The short setup I’m watching:

Entry zone: 1.4927–1.4954
TP1: 1.4835
TP2: 1.4732
TP3: 1.4425
Invalidation: 1h close above 1.4954

I would not chase the move at current levels. The cleaner setup is a retest into 1.4927–1.4954 followed by a bearish 5m/15m structure break, rejection wick, SFP, engulfing candle, or strong bearish order block.

Flow also favors the downside:
OI: $468.6M, +0.9% 24h
Funding: +0.0039%
Taker ratio: 0.82x
8m whale flow: $136K buy vs $293K sell

Positive funding while sellers dominate taker flow could provide additional squeeze fuel if XRP fails another breakout attempt.

Key level to watch: 1.4954.

Below it, bears remain in control. A confirmed 1h close above 1.4954 would invalidate this setup and shift the structure bullish.
