Seiâs 6.6 upgrade is the first release where parts of Sei Giga begin running on mainnet.
Two major pieces are coming in: Eidos, which starts moving EVM history into a dedicated storage layer, and Ares, a rebuilt execution engine that becomes the default execution path.
And the bigger target is serious: Sei Giga is being built around 200,000 TPS.
But this is not the finished Giga upgrade. Consensus is still coming in a later phase.
That makes the next releases important to watch.
