Creators don't necessarily need another platform.

They need better royalty infrastructure.

A creator can sell a song, artwork, license, or digital asset today.

But what happens after the first sale?

The asset gets resold.
The content gets licensed.
Value moves across platforms.

Yet the creator may not automatically participate in those downstream transactions.

Blockchain offers an interesting possibility:

✓ Ownership can be recorded onchain

✓ Royalty rules can be built into smart contracts

✓ Payments can settle programmatically

✓ Transaction history can be tracked transparently

The interesting part isn't simply “creators get paid in crypto.”

It's the possibility of making royalties part of the transaction itself.

If this works across different platforms and ecosystems, creators could have a more direct way to participate in the value their work generates after the initial sale.

The bigger question is:

Can blockchain make creator royalties portable across the digital economy?

That's the part worth watching.
