Polkadot's own stablecoin is coming soon...
Though the 'dotUSD: A Native Stablecoin for Polkadot' proposal is still up for voting, it's looking pretty clear that it will pass.
If/when it does, @Polkadot Network will be on its way to having its own stablecoin, backed by the $DOT token.
Treasury funds will be used to seed the initial liquidity, and users will be given the chance to swap $USDT for $dotUSD in phase 1 of its rollout.
This could jumpstart one of crypto's oldest L1 ecosystems...
