More than $30 trillion in transaction value has moved across TRON since the network launched. That is an enormous amount of activity, but the figure represents total on-chain transfers it does not tell us exactly how much came from merchant payments, exchange activity, or transfers between individual wallets.

Another major part of the network is USDT.

More than $94 billion in USDT currently circulates on TRON, highlighting how heavily the network is used for stablecoin transfers and settlement.

But large transaction networks also face financial-crime risks.

TRM Labs reported that TRON accounted for a significant share of illicit crypto activity in 2024. Importantly, TRM also reported that illicit volume on TRON fell by about $6 billion during 2024, while its share of illicit activity nearly halved.

That is where monitoring and enforcement become important.

TRON, Tether and TRM Labs created the T3 Financial Crime Unit to help identify and freeze illicit USDT activity on TRON. The initiative has worked with law enforcement to freeze funds connected to suspected criminal activity.

So the TRON story is not simply about how much money moves through the network.

It is also about scale, stablecoin usage, transparency, and the systems needed to monitor a blockchain handling massive amounts of value.

$30T moved.

$94B+ in USDT.

And an ongoing effort to make a high-volume network safer for legitimate users.
