🚨 Bitcoin Exchange Supply Is Falling Fast
Something unusual just showed up in Bitcoin’s exchange flows.
According to CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost, Binance recorded 13,800+ BTC in net outflows in a single day — its largest daily outflow since 2023.
Even more notable: Binance’s BTC reserves fell from roughly 705,000 BTC to 685,000 BTC in just four days, a decline of around 20,000 BTC.
The 7-day average netflow has also moved to approximately -2,000 BTC, meaning withdrawals have recently outweighed deposits.
Why does this matter?
Coins moving off exchanges can indicate investors are shifting BTC toward self-custody or longer-term storage, reducing the amount immediately available for exchange selling.
Darkfost also links the unusually large withdrawals to renewed FOMO, as BTC has rallied roughly 45% from July levels and recently held above the $82K area.
⚠️ Important: Exchange outflows do NOT automatically mean price must rise. Transfers can also reflect custody movements, institutional activity or other wallet transactions.
Rising BTC price + falling Binance reserves is a market structure worth watching closely.
If this flow persists, the supply sitting directly on exchanges could become an increasingly important part of Bitcoin’s next move.
