$SOL is up 5%+.

But honestly, the green candle is the least interesting part.

The bigger story is Alpenglow.

Solana is testing its upcoming consensus upgrade ahead of the planned Agave 4.3 rollout — with a target of roughly 150ms finality, compared with ~12.8s under TowerBFT.

That’s not just a faster number.

It could change what Solana is capable of for trading, payments, RWAs and other latency-sensitive applications.

But here’s the part I’m watching 👇

Faster infrastructure ≠ automatic SOL demand.

The upgrade only becomes economically meaningful if developers actually build on it, users actually use it, and capital actually flows through the network.

There are also some signals worth keeping on the radar:

🐋 $57.3M whale transfer to a CEX
📈 RSI around 84.2
🏦 RWA AUM at $34.18B
📊 Tokenized equities at $4.43B

None of these alone tells us what happens next.

So instead of asking:

“How high can SOL go?”

I’m asking:

“What does Solana’s new speed actually unlock?”

That’s the part worth watching.
