A Petrobras SA executive on Braskem SA’s board said he expects the Brazilian petrochemicals producer to reach a deal with creditors to restructure about $11 billion of debt and avoid a bankruptcy filing, according to Bloomberg.
The executive made the comments as Braskem works on the debt restructuring.
