When Bitcoin is sitting around the mid-$80Ks, $100K doesnât feel that far away anymore. Weâre talking about roughly a 16â17% move from current levels.
In crypto, that can happen surprisingly fast. But hereâs where things get interesting đ
$100K is a target. It is NOT a guarantee.
Bitcoin could push toward $90K, get rejected, drop back down, and make everyone suddenly start asking:
âWas that the top?â
Thatâs crypto. đ
The real battle may happen before $100K.
đ WATCH THE $90K AREA
If BTC can reclaim and hold higher levels with strong spot demand, traders may start paying much more attention to the psychological $100K level.
But if the move is driven mainly by leverage and short squeezes, things can get ugly just as quickly.
A pump doesn't automatically mean a sustainable trend.
And this is why I'm watching volume, ETF flows, derivatives positioning and macro liquidity rather than simply shouting:
â$100K IS GUARANTEED!â
Because we've seen this movie before.
Bitcoin can make you feel like you're late at $86 then make you feel like a genius at $95KâŠ
and then humble everyone at $88K. đ
đ§ THE BIGGER PICTURE
The interesting thing is that Bitcoin doesn't need to double from here to reach $100K.
It needs roughly one more 16â17% move. That's completely within Bitcoin's historical volatility.
But the path matters more than the number. If BTC reaches $100K through healthy spot demand and sustained liquidity, that's one situation.
If it gets there through excessive leverage and a giant short squeeze, that's a very different situation.
Same price. Completely different market structure.
So I'm not saying â â$100K is guaranteed.â
I'm saying:
đ $100K is close enough that Bitcoin's next major moves deserve serious attention.
What do you think?
Does BTC reach $100K before another major correction⊠or does the market surprise everyone again? đ
